I waited until I had time to read this and it was wonderful; some of it brought tears to my eyes when talking about Jesus and what He did for us on the cross is so unbelievable! This is such a great reading – thanks Charity for sharing this.
I actually remember these days you are describing because of raising our kids together; your Mother and I. I was laughing out loud on some things – I remember as if it was yesterday. She would watch the kids and get them busy w/something and I would clean her kitchen. LOL We made a good friend team!!

… to wake up as a fashion illustrator, children’s clothing designer, a watercolorist ( whose work is NEVER muddy), pencil portrait artist (I LOVE faces … so fascinating) and a display designer 👩🏼🎨 … not much knocking around in this head and heart is there?!? Miss you girl!
“Whose work is never muddy” I so feel you there! I find watercoloring more difficult than oil paints. Fashion designer and children’s clothing designer — man, these do sound fun! Thanks for the ideas, Jenny!

Ah so many abilities (especially spiritual ones) I’d like to have in huge measures.
One skill that comes to mind (and it’s specific) is to be able to effortlessly intuit the (unspoken) needs of others and be able to meet them with unlimited resources and compassion, while not being emotionally overcome by the heaviness of those needs.
If that’s not an option, I’ll settle for teleportation so I can travel on a budget. 😜
